Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort
Upon arrival at Los Cabos International Airport, you're met and transferred on a 90 minute
shuttle to the secluded East Cape village of Cabo Pulmo and your home for the next 3 nights
at Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort on the turquoise Sea of Cortez.
This laid back beach resort features landscaped gardens and beach front rooms with private
outdoor patios. Tonight, we celebrate with margaritas, a beach bon fire and a festive
welcome-to-Baja dinner.
Sea Kayaking and Snorkeling, Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort
Your first full day is a fantastic
kayaking and snorkeling adventure in Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park.
Kayak secluded bays on the watch for dolphins, manta rays and whales, then snorkel on the only
living coral reef in the Sea of Cortez. These nutrient rich waters support marine life so
abundant it was once described by Jacques Cousteau as the aquarium of the world.
Kayak up to 4 miles, depending on conditions in one or two person kayaks. Masks, fins, snorkel
and wetsuits are available.
Free Day, Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort
Today is free to enjoy as you like - swim with sea lions, hike or mountain bike among wild
figs and palms, explore an ancient petroglyph site, kayak, snorkel, wind surf, rock climb,
fish or just plain relax.
Activities at additional cost.
Hike the Sierra de la Laguna, Casa Natalia
We start with a scenic drive to the mission settlement of Santiago for a tour of this sleepy
village oasis, then
hike into the remote Sierra De la Laguna Mountains,
a rugged wilderness rising from the Baja desert. We travel trails used by Indians for hundreds
of years, hiking through wild canyons to secluded waterfalls and spring fed pools where we
swim among incredible rock formations.
After our hike we drive to San Jose del Cabo and settle into your hacienda-style accommodation
at Casa Natalia. Standing gracefully at the north end of San José's most charming plaza
is this small romantic inn. Bright, airy rooms, among the most private and well appointed in
Los Cabos, are decorated with regional Mexican motifs and European linens.
This day includes a tour of Santiago and a hike in the Sierra de la Laguna for up to 4 miles
with an elevation gain of 300 feet.
Mountain Biking and Whale Watching, Casa Natalia
This morning we mountain bike in the private Cabo Real Natural Reserve and its fascinating
coastal desert with incredible vistas and plant life found nowhere else on earth.
A variety of trails provide fun biking for all levels.
This afternoon we cruise from Cabo San Lucas past famous Land’s End Arch in search of the
mighty Gray whale. Every winter the waters surrounding Los Cabos are home to these gentle
giants as they journey from the Bering Sea to mate and calve in the warm waters off Baja.
We return in time to visit the colorful open-air arts and crafts market in Cabo San Lucas.
This day includes mauntain biking where helmets are provided and a whale watching tour for
two and a half hours.
Surfing Los Cerritos and Todos Santos Tour, Casa Natalia
Surf's up! Today we drive up Baja's gorgeous Pacific coast to beautiful Los Cerritos beach.
Swim, sun bathe, stroll along the beach, and learn to surf! Lessons will get you catching
your first waves today.
After the beach, we visit the historic town of Todos Santos where we take a guided tour of
its mission, cultural museum and art galleries. Tonight we celebrate our farewell dinner
back in San Jose del Cabo at a restaurant in the heart of its charming historic district.
This day includes surfing and a tour of the town of Todos Santos.
Flights Home
After breakfast we transfer to Los Cabos International Airport for return flights home.
